Exhibits, including highlights such as a 20-million-year-old petrified tree, 2,000 finds of the forest in a "Wunderkammer", 200 pieces of wood in the wood library, 32 trees from Hamburg's Hausbruch forest district and 40 taxidermied animals, give you surprising insights on interactive pedestals and dioramas - and thus make the forest tangible and understandable.
